Dr Deidre Palmer is currently the Moderator of the Synod of South Australia and the President-elect of the Uniting Church in Australia. Deidre has a PhD in Christian Education from Boston College, USA and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Flinders University. She has been on the faculty of Perkins School of Theology in Dallas, Texas, and the Adelaide College of Divinity. Deidre has a long-term interest in how the church can be the whole people of God for all ages.
Deidre will lead sessions on “Shaping Intergenerational Worship”, “Growing Disciples: Linking Worship, Learning and Mission” and will host a panel conversation on “Worship on the Land of First Peoples”.
